Great News!

Dear Friends and Family,
The pulmonary doctor came by this evening and said that mom is doing very well and that he is leaving orders for her to be taken off the respirator tomorrow morning at 6:00 A.M. We have been told that this can be a difficult and painful process, so please keep Jean in your prayers tomorrow morning. Our hope is that this can be done as quickly and with as little discomfort as possible. Also, please pray that mom's oxygen levels stay high once they remove her from the vent. Although mom still has a long recovery ahead of her, this is a huge first step!

The internal medicine doctor also came by earlier today and said that he was confident that mom would make a complete recovery.

We are so very, very thankful for the outpouring of love that everyone has shown to our family and to mom.

Thank you for your continued prayers! We will update the blog tomorrow as soon as mom has recovered from the removal of her vent.
As my dear friend Kristi closed her last email...
In His embrace,
Much love to all...
